ingredients
450 grams macaroni
450 millilitres milk
60 grams butter
2 sliced tomatoes
2 teaspoons mustard 15 grams flour
230 grams cheddar cheese

 


method.
Cook the macaroni in salted boiled water.
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Stir in the flour.
Slowly add the milk and continue stirring.
Bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in 170 grams of cheese and the mustard.
Drain the macaroni and put in an oven proof dish.
Pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni.
Grate the remaining cheese onto the cheese sauce.
Arrange the sliced tomato on to of the cheese.
Bake in the oven for 20 mins at 190 c, gas 5.
