The weather in the UK has been very cold. There has been lots of snow and ice. The snow lasted for 2 weeks.
Some children couldn't get to school. Many schools closed for several days. Some children missed exams.
Many people couldn't get to work. Shops and offices were closed. The snow was very bad for business.
Lots of people enjoyed the snow. People made snowmen. The landscape was very white.
